Privacy Policy

This policy explains what osr2mp4.com ("we", "the service") collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to render and host your videos, and we do not sell personal data.

What we collect

  • Uploaded files — replay files (.osr), and optionally skins (.osk) and beatmaps (.osz/.osu) you submit for rendering. Rendered videos and preview images are stored on our content delivery infrastructure so they can be played and shared.
  • Account data — if you sign in, we store your email address, display name and avatar as provided by the sign-in provider (Google), plus your plan and video library. You can use the core service without an account.
  • Payment data — subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we store only the subscription status and plan tier.
  • Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) retained briefly for security and abuse prevention. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the render pipeline from bots; Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal data.
  • We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
  • We do not read the contents of your files beyond what rendering requires.

Public content

Rendered videos get a public share page (a short link) and may appear in the site's public gallery, alongside the player name embedded in the replay and the beatmap's title. If you want a video removed, delete it from your library or contact us via the takedown form.

Retention

Videos rendered without an account are retained for a limited period. Account videos are kept until you delete them or your storage quota requires rotation. Server logs are kept for at most 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie for sign-in state and Stripe/Turnstile set their own cookies when their widgets load. No cross-site advertising cookies are used.

Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us through the contact form (select "Privacy request") or via the Discord community. Account deletion removes your profile and library.

osr2mp4 is an independent fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by osu!, ppy Pty Ltd, or Dean "peppy" Herbert. "osu!" is a trademark of ppy Pty Ltd.
